Shreveport - The Centenary softball team has been selected as Centenary Athletics' "Team of the Week" after the Ladies completed a three-game in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference sweep over the University of Dallas Crusaders this past weekend on the road.

The Ladies extended their season-high winning streak to four games after a 4-0 win on Friday in the series opener and a doubleheader sweep on Saturday by scores of 7-1 in game one and 6-5 in 11 innings in game two. Centenary has now won 11 of the last 12 meetings between the two teams and is 33-12 all-time against Dallas.

Centenary returns home this weekend for a conference series against Austin College. Game one is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday with a DH to follow on Sunday at Noon and 2 p.m.
