Shreveport - The Centenary women's soccer team will face the Austin College 'Roos on Friday evening in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest set for 6 p.m. at Mayo Field.

The Ladies (0-11-1, 0-6 SCAC) aim for their first victory of the season while Austin College (0-8-1, 0-6 SCAC) enters Friday's action also in search of their first win of the season. Centenary fell to Southwestern by a score of 2-0 on Sunday at home in its most recent action while the 'Roos lost 1-0 at home to Schreiner Sunday.

Austin College has been shut out in six-consecutive matches and has only scored two goals all season. Centenary leads the all-time series 9-8-1 and won 2-1 in overtime last season in Sherman and the Maroon and White have won five in a row over the 'Roos dating back to the 2017 season.

Sophomore GK Madison Ersoff (Shreveport, La.) ranks second in the conference in saves (44) and played all 90 minutes in the loss to Southwestern, matching her career-high of nine saves which she originally set on Sept. 25 at Trinity.

Senior F Sydney Bascomb (Mesquite, Texas) needs just one more assist to become the all-time leader in the division III era (2011-present) in the category. Junior D Alexa Hinojosa (Pasadena, Texas) is the team leader in both goals (2) and points (4) this season while senior MF/D Gabby McDonald (Pasadena, Texas) is the leader in assists with two.

Centenary wraps up the weekend with another home match on Sunday versus the University of Dallas at Noon.
