Shreveport - The Centenary football team has been selected as Centenary Athletics' "Team of the Week" after the Gents remained undefeated following a blowout victory last Wednesday at home, 57-8, over the TWA College BattleCats at Mayo Field.

The Gents (6-0) have outscored the opposition 297-47 this season. Centenary will now be off for 12 days and return to action with a contest versus the Texas Lutheran JV squad on Monday, Oct. 30 at 5:30 p.m. The game will be played in Fort Worth, Texas at Lake County Christian High School but is considered a home game for the Gents. The Gents finish the season next month with a pair of road games at Arkansas Baptist (Nov. 4 – 2 p.m.) and at Lyon College (Nov. 11 – 2 p.m.).
