Cleburne, Texas - The #24 Centenary baseball team fell 12-9 to the Southwestern Pirates in an elimination game of the 2021 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Championship on Saturday at The Depot at Cleburne Station. 

The No. 4 seed Gents (30-11) were eliminated after falling by a score of 9-7 to No. 1 seed trinity on Friday in their tournament opener. The Gents will wait and see if they receive a bid to an NCAA Regional while the No. 3 seed Pirates move on to face Trinity in another elimination game. The Tigers lost to No. 2 seed Texas Lutheran, 12-10, in the first game on Saturday as the Bulldogs moved into Sunday's championship game.
