The Gents (6-13, 4-6 SCAC) look to snap a five-game losing streak after falling on the road in league play last weekend to Schreiner and Trinity. Centenary, 5-6 at home this season, is an impressive 27-11 over its last 38 home games and the Gents are now 48-17 in the Gold Dome since the beginning of the 2019-20 season.
The Tornados (8-10, 5-4 SCAC) have won three games in a row and are 5-5 on the road this season. Concordia defeated both Southwestern and Texas Lutheran on the road last weekend and then beat McMurry at home on Monday, 92-74. Friday marks the first meeting between Centenary and Concordia since Dec. 9, 2017 in Austin, Texas when the Tornados recorded a 99-81 victory.
The Gents are averaging 70.8 PPG, shooting 39.4 % from the floor, 30.0 % from beyond the arc, 74.1 % from the free-throw line, and average 30.6 rebounds/game. Centenary also averages 10.4 assists per game, 9.3 steals/game and 2.7 blocks/game. The Gents have tallied 10+ assists in a game 13 times and done so in six of their last eight games, recorded double-digit steals six times, and five or more blocked shots four times.
Centenary is the top free-throw shooting team in the conference and ranks 53rd nationally in division III, the Gents are tied for 31st in the country in turnover margin (4.0/game) and have forced 323 TO's this season.

The Gents were picked to finish fourth in the conference preseason poll while the Tornados, in their first season in the SCAC, were picked sixth. The conference is separated into two divisions this season – the Blue and the Gold. Centenary is currently tied for fourth in the Blue Division while Concordia is third in the Gold division.
The top six teams in the conference (top three from each division) will qualify for the SCAC Men's Basketball Tournament, which will be held February 28 through March 2 and hosted by the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas. The winner of that event will earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Collier is ranked seventh in the conference in scoring and has 13 double-figure scoring performances while scoring 20+ eight times. He is also ranked fourth in the league in FT % (86.7 %) and ranks top 50 nationally. Collier also averages 2.8 rebounds per game, shoots 40.3 % from the floor and 37.4 % from 3-point range. He ranks in the top 12 in the SCAC in steals per game, 3-point FG % and 3-point FG made and is eighth in the league in minutes played, averaging 31.6 minutes/game and has played 40 minutes twice.
Greenleaf is fourth in the conference in blocked shots, tied for seventh in the league in rebounding and is 24th in scoring (12.3 PPG), seventh in FG % (54.0), and is tied for eighth in steals (1.6/game). He is also 10th in the league in minutes played (30.6/game) and has 11 double-digit scoring performances this season and has scored 20+ four times along with four double-doubles.
Senior G Jalen Ned (New Orleans, La.) averages 10.3 PPG and scored a team-high 18 points against Trinity last Saturday. Ned, who also averages 4.1 rebounds per game and shoots 41.6 % from the floor, has reached double figures nine times this season. He is also one of the league's top FT shooters (78.1 %) and shoots 34.9 % from beyond the arc. Junior G Quentin Beverly (Katy, Texas) missed the first six games of the season but has come back strong as he has reached double figures 10 times in 12 games and is averaging an impressive 18.3 PPG while scoring 20+ points five times.
Addison averages 6.2 PPG, 4.9 rebounds/game, and shoots 46.8 % from the floor along with being the team leader in steals per game to rank sixth in the conference. The rookie is also tied for sixth in the SCAC in blocked shots per game and has reached double figures five times.
