The Gents were most recently in action at the UHV Fall Classic hosted by University of Houston-Victoria on Oct. 16-17 in Victoria, Texas as they finished ninth after shooting a 109-over par 973.

Freshman Aubrey Snell (Shreveport, La.) was disqualified in round one on Monday and did not record a score, but he wound up shooting a 9-over par 153 to tie for sixth place after shooting a 6-over par 78 in round two and followed that with a final-round 3-over par 75. Senior Andrew Bennett (Bossier City, La.) tied for 32nd place after a 6-over par 78 on Tuesday. He shot 80-81 – 161 (+17) on Monday and was tied for 35th place.

Sophomore Jeffrey Borchert (Katy, Texas) finished in a tie for 35th place at 25-over par 241 after shooting a 14-over par 86 on Tuesday. Senior Devan Martin (Watson, La.) finished in 50th place at 38-over par 254 and junior Tyler Jones (Stonewall, La.) finished 52nd at 52-over 268.

Bennett claimed his first-career individual title this past fall as he fired an 11-under par 129 to win by two shots at the UMHB Men's Invitational hosted by the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on Sept. 26 in Temple, Texas

Bennett's victory guided the Gents to a sixth-place finish in their season-opening event, as the Maroon and White shot an 11-over par 571. Centenary shot a 4-over par 284 in the first round and finished the day in a three-way tie for third place and followed that with a 7-over par 287 in the final round. Bennett finished two shots ahead of Trinity's Jacob Mason (9-under par 131) as he becomes the first Gent to win an individual title since Richard Polan at the 2022 Rhodes Spring Classic.

Bennett's 6-under par 64 in the first round marked the lowest round by a Centenary men's golfer in the division III era (2011-present) and he followed that up with a 5-under 65 in the final round, highlighted by consecutive birdies to cap his winning round. Bennett now adds an elusive individual victory to his impressive resume as he now has one runner-up, three top five finishes, and seven top-10 finishes in his career. He finished in a three-way tie for sixth at 6-over par 222 at the conference championships last season to earn Second-Team All-SCAC honors.

The Ladies shot a 251-over par 827 in the Coastal Georgia Women's Winter Invite and freshman Hailey Adams (Hamburg, Ark.) earned the Ladies' best finish as she placed 46th at 57-over par 201.

Sophomore Kaylee Roberts (Watonga, Okla.) finished 48th at 61-over par 205 after rounds of 101-104, freshman Mya Thompson (South Jordan, Utah) finished 49th after shooting rounds of 105-101 to finish at 62-over par 206 and has finished in the top 50 in every tournament so far this season, and freshman Jordyn Templeton (Columbus, Texas) finished 50th at 71-over par 215 after rounds of 106-109.
