Clarksville, Ark. - The Centenary women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to the Hendrix College Warriors on Sunday afternoon in a neutral-site contest at Hurie Soccer Field.

The Ladies (0-2) fell 1-0 to the host University of the Ozarks Eagles on Saturday afternoon in the Ladies' season opener. The Warriors (2-0) took a 1-0 lead at the half and added two second-half goals to seal the shutout.

Hendrix finished with a 12-5 advantage in shots and took four corner kicks to just one by the Ladies. Each team was whistled for just one foul each in a cleanly-played game. Junior GK Madison Ersoff (Shreveport, La.) played all 90 minutes for the Ladies and recorded seven saves. The Warriors played a pair of goalkeepers as Elisabeth Caton Nelson started and played the first half, making three saves. Kennedy Lewis played the second half and made one save as she kept the shutout intact.

Madison Lampkin got the Warriors on the board with a goal in the 32nd minute with an assist from Mackenzie Sinclair. Clara Sullivan made it 2-0 with an unassisted score in the 51st minute, and Lampkin assisted Sierra Dobson in the 73rd minute. Seven Ladies, including Ersoff, played all 90 minutes and in comparison, no Hendrix played went the distance.

Centenary will return to action for its home opener set for Friday against The University of Texas at Dallas in a non-conference match set for 6 p.m. at Mayo Field.
