Swimming Falls to Trinity in Dual Meet

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Centenary swimming teams travelled to the heart of Texas and lost a pair of dual meets to Trinity Friday night, October 20. The Gents fell 98-73, while the Ladies lost 63-48.

Senior Zach Harrison for the Gents took the 200 freestyle, touching the wall in 1:47.14. Freshman McRee Smith finished second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 50.46. The quartet of Harrison, Smith, and seniors Mason Kay and Anthony McDonald finished second in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:31.11.

For the Ladies, sophomore Jessi Jordan won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:38.43. The team of Jordan, senior Caitlyn Faulhaber, and juniors Elena Ring and Rebecca Dunn took second in the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:33.52.

Centenary returns to the pool Saturday, October 21, at 11 a.m. against Southwestern.
