Ladies and Gents Wraps Up Season at the 2018 SCAC Championships

THE COLONY, Texas - The Gents finished in fourth with 483 points, while the Ladies took fifth with 244 points, as Centenary completed the 2017-18 season at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Swimming Championships Saturday night, February 17.

Trinity won both the Men's (974.5 points) and Women's (1025) titles.

The highest individual finish on the day came for the Ladies came in the 200 breaststroke. Sophomore Jessi Jordan swam the fourth-fastest time in school history, touching the wall in 2:30.44 and finishing fourth. Junior Blake Smith also finished fourth in the men's 100 freestyle with a time of 47.41.

In the relays, the Gents finished the 400 free relay team of senior Anthony McDonald, Zachary Harrison, and Mason Kay with Smith finished fourth with a time of 3:12.13. The Ladies quartet of senior Caitlyn Faulhaber, junior Elena Ring, freshman Jesseca Hageman, and Jordan finished fifth with a time of 3:55.62.
