The Ladies (7-10) enter Tuesday's play on a high note as they opened Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play with a sweep in a doubleheader over the University of Dallas Crusaders last weekend at home, winning game by 7-0 and game two 4-1 as Centenary has now won three games in a row.

The YellowJackets (7-8) have lost two in a row as they were swept last Thursday in a DH at Trinity University. LeTourneau is 2-5 at home this season but has not played on its home field since the first weekend in March. The YellowJackets swept the Ladies in a DH last season in Shreveport, winning 4-1 and 8-3.

Junior P Anna Scarbrock (Alexandria, La.) was named the SCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week on Monday after she was masterful in the circle in the Ladies' 7-0 win over Dallas on Saturday. She tossed a complete-game shutout and needed only 50 pitches to do so. She allowed just two hits with no walks and one strikeout. She faced 24 batters, hitting one, and threw 40 of her 50 pitches for strikes. Scarbrock earned the honor for the second time in her career and first time since April 20, 2022.

Scarbrock has not allowed an earned run in her last 10 innings while allowing only four hits and no walks with two K's. She now owns a pair of seven-inning complete-game shutouts and both have been against Dallas as she tossed one last season on April 7, a 4-0 Centenary win. Scarbrock has thrown 19 complete games in her career which ranks third in the division III era (2012-present) in program history.
