Ladies Blanked 4-0 At Trinity In Season Finale
The Centenary women's soccer team fell 4-0 on Sunday afternoon to the Trinity University Tigers in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match and its season finale at Paul McGinlay Field.

San Antonio, Texas - The Centenary women's soccer team fell 4-0 on Sunday afternoon to the Trinity University Tigers in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match and its season finale at Paul McGinlay Field.
The Ladies (3-13-2, 1-9-0 SCAC) lost their ninth match in a row and finished 0-9-2 on the road. The Tigers improved to 14-2-2 overall and 10-1-1 in league play and finished 8-0-1 at home.
Trinity led 1-0 at halftime and then added three goals in the second half to cruise to the shutout win. Bri Werner's goal in the 14th minute gave the Tigers an early 1-0 lead. The goal was her eighth of the season and she was assisted by Kylie Harris. Hanna Khan's fifth goal of the season made it 2-0 in the 64th minute with double assists going to Malea Cesar and Werner.
Just 30 seconds later, Werner scored to make it 3-0 with Michaela assisting, and Abby Schneider found the net for the eighth time this season in the 81st minute with Khan assisting to cap the scoring and make it 4-0.
Sophomore GK/MF Zoe Keller (Waggaman, La.) played all 90 minutes and made six saves. The Tigers played a pair of GK's as Lauryn Lewis started and went the first 70:47 and was replaced by Claire Burns who played the final 19:13.
Keller started 10 matches this season and finishes with 72 saves, a 2.21 GAA (goals against average), and a .750 save percentage.
