LaGrange, Ga. - The Centenary men's soccer team suffered its first loss of the season on Friday afternoon, falling 4-0 to the LaGrange College Panthers in a non-conference contest at Callaway Stadium.

The Gents (1-1-1) were playing their first road game of the season after a pair of home games. The Panthers (3-0) remained undefeated with the win and have yet to allow a goal this season while Centenary had not allowed a goal until today. The teams were meeting for the first time in history on Friday.

LaGrange scored a pair of first-half goals to take a 2-0 lead at halftime and added two more in the final 90 minutes to record the shutout win. Enrique Hernandez got the Panthers on the board first with a goal in the 26th minute off an assist from William Perry.

Hernandez then assisted Lucas Duke on the second goal just over five minutes later. Perry found the net in the 53rd minute with the assist coming from Blake Webb, and Hernandez and Perry teamed up again as Hernandez notched his second goal in the 62nd minute for the 4-0 advantage.

LaGrange Andrew Cole picked up the shutout win as he played all 90 minutes and made four saves. Gents' senior GK Sami Borchalli (Lafayette, La.) took the loss as he also played all 90 minutes and made four saves.
