The Gents (1-3-5) are eager to get back on the field after having last played on Sunday, Sept. 25 when they tied the University of Texas at Dallas Comets, 2-2, in a non-conference contest in Richardson, Texas. Colorado College enters Sunday's match at 4-2-3 overall and is 0-0-1 in conference play after earning a 1-1 tie versus St. Thomas on Friday at home.

Centenary has now recorded three-consecutive ties of its five total this season and extended its record for most ties in a season in the division III era (2011-present) which had been three. Centenary tied McMurry University (3-3) on Sept. 23 to set the single-season mark after earning a 1-1 draw at home against LeTourneau on Sept. 18 to tie the previous record.

Senior MF Jaron Petreas (Denton, Texas) is the Gents' offensive leader as he is in the midst of a stellar campaign with a team-leading five goals, four assists, and 14 points. Petreas scored a goal and tallied an assist in tie against McMurry, an assist in the UT-Dallas match, and a goal against LeTourneau. He is among the career leaders in the D3 era in goals (10), assists (5), and points (25) and has a pair of game-winning goals in his impressive career.

Sophomore F Ron Masti (Houston, Texas) and freshman F Aaron Myers (Plano, Texas) are tied for second on the team in goals with three each and sophomore MF Brennan Amato (Denham Springs, La.) is second on the team in assists with two. Gents' senior goalkeeper Sami Borchalli (Lafayette, La.) has started all nine games this season and played 790:54 with three shutouts. Borchalli has made 16 saves in his last three matches and played all 90 minutes of a match in eight of nine matches. Borchalli is the D3-era all-time leader in career shutouts with 14.

Colorado College is 0-1-0 at home and has earned two-straight ties entering Sunday's match. The Gents and Tigers will meet for the first time since a forgettable Senior Night for Centenary as the visitors recorded a 7-0 win last Oct. 22 at Mayo Field. The teams split a pair of matches two seasons ago, highlighted by a 2-1 win for the Gents in the quarterfinals of the SCAC Tournament, fueling Centenary's run to a tournament title.

Centenary remains on the road for a pair of matches next weekend at Texas Lutheran (Oct. 7) and Southwestern (Oct. 9).
