Ladies Earn Doubleheader Split Against Schreiner

Shreveport - The Centenary softball team split a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader on Friday afternoon against the Schreiner University Mountaineers, falling 3-2 in game one and rebounding with a 2-1 win in the second game at the Centenary Softball Complex.

The Ladies (11-16, 5-12 SCAC) and Mountaineers (13-23, 10-7 SCAC) will wrap up the weekend series on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Ladies will honor their two seniors, P Ashley Hunter (Benton, La.) and 2B Jaymee Wilkinson (Brazoria, Texas) in a postgame ceremony.
