Whitney, Texas - The Centenary women's golf team is in seventh place after two rounds of play in the 2024 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Monday as the Ladies shot a 127-over par 415 at the New Course at White Bluff Golf Resort.

The Ladies, who shot a 118-over par 106 in Sunday's opening round, are + 245 (821) for the tournament. Trinity University, the defending champion, leads the field at 44-over par 620, as the Tigers are 26 shots ahead of designated tournament host Southwestern University (+70 – 646). The University of St. Thomas is third (+79 – 655), the University of Dallas is in fourth place (+118 – 694), Schreiner University is fifth (+150 – 726), and Texas Lutheran University is in sixth place in front of the Ladies at 204-over par 821.

The third and final round is set to begin at 8:35 a.m. on Tuesday at the par-72, 5,688-yard course. Southwestern's Ryleigh Erickson, the individual leader after one round as she shot a 2-over par 74, still leads the field after shooting a 1-over 73 on Monday and is at 3-over par 147. She leads two Trinity golfers Erin Flynn and Jessica Mason, by five and six shots respectively.

Freshman Hailey Adams (Hamburg, Ark.) remained in 26th place as she shot a 26-over par 98 which followed a 25-over par 97 in Sunday's opening round. Freshman Jordyn Templeton (Columbus, Texas) is in 30th place at 59-over par 203 as she has shot rounds of 101-102, sophomore Kaylee Roberts (Watonga, Okla.) is 32nd at 63-over par 207 and freshman  Mya Thompson (South Jordan, Utah) is in 33rd place at 72-over par 216 as she has shot rounds of 108-108.
