Shreveport – The Centenary lacrosse team will face the Point University Skyhawks on Saturday in a non-conference contest set for Noon at Mayo Field.

Centenary will honor its 2024 senior class following Saturday's game. The Gents (1-5) fell 20-7 to the Hendrix College Warriors on Wednesday evening in a non-conference contest at home.
The Skyhawks are an NAIA squad located in West Point, Ga. and compete in the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC). They enter Saturday's action with a 2-6 overall record and are 1-4 on the road. Centenary and Point University will meet for the first time.

Miller started in goal for the Gents on Wednesday and played all 60 minutes as he set a program single-game record with 30 saves. Temple scored a team-high three goals for the Gents and Cook and Spivey each had two.
The Gents were solid defensively in the first quarter, trailing just 1-0 at the end of the period and were down just 7-3 early in the third, but the Warriors outscored the Maroon and White 13-4 over the final 25 minutes to seal the win.
Centenary will honor three of its seniors following Saturday's game - D Matthew Lulich (New Orleans, La.), Ossman, and Ben Vazquez (San Antonio, Texas). Temple will be honored after the Gents' home finale against Colorado College on April 7.
