Irving, Texas – The Centenary men's soccer team scored three goals in the final 20 minutes on Friday night as the Gents registered a thrilling 3-1 comeback victory over the University of Dallas Crusaders in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play at the UD Soccer Facility.

The Gents (4-6-2, 1-3 SCAC) snapped a three-game losing streak and won for the first time in conference play while the Crusaders dropped to 1-8-3 and 0-3-1 in SCAC action.

Centenary won for the first time on the road this season to improve to 1-2-1 while Dallas fell to 1-4-2 at home. The Gents now lead the Crusaders, 12-10, in the all-time series and have won six in a row dating back to 2019.

Senior MF Hunter Booth (Harrodsburg, Ky.) scored a pair of goals, finding the net for the first two times this season, as he tied the match at 1-1 in the 74th minute and scored again at the 86:39 mark.

Antonio Gachineiro converted on a penalty kick in the 29th minute of the first half to give the Crusaders a 1-0 lead. That lead lasted until Booth scored his unassisted goal. Senior D Adam Bihler (Pittsburgh, Pa.) broke the tie in the 77th minute, assisted by junior D Dylan Allred (Lafayette, La.).

The Gents scored three or more goals for the third time season and for the first time since their last win, a 3-2 decision over Howard Payne at home on Sept. 23. The Maroon and White's season-high in goals is five – a 5-2 win over Huntingdon College on Sept. 10 at home.

Gents' junior GK Casey Clemo (Forney, Texas) played all 90 minutes and made six saves. Dallas GK Uday Agarwal also went the distance and recorded two saves. The Crusaders finished with a 14-10 edge in shots and the Gents took three corner kicks to the Crusaders' two. There were 25 fouls were called in the match, 14 on Dallas and 11 for Centenary. Seven yellow cards were issued – four to the Gents and three to the Crusaders.

Booth is the first Centenary player to score multiple goals in a game this season and first since Aaron Myers scored a pair in the Gents' 5-0 win over Dallas Christian College last season.

The Gents will wrap up the weekend on Sunday against Austin College (7-5, 2-2 SCAC) in Sherman, Texas at 2 p.m. The 'Roos face St. Thomas on Friday at home.
