The Ladies (2-18, 1-11 SCAC) aim to snap a nine-game losing streak and are in search of their first win since defeating the University of Dallas at home on Jan. 12. The Tigers (19-2, 11-1 SCAC) sits atop the Blue Division standings in the conference while the Ladies are tied for fifth and the visitors have won eight games in a row. Colorado College, ranked #22 in this week's D3hoops.com Top 25 poll, won the first meeting between the teams by a score of 109-37 on Jan. 24 in Colorado Springs, Colo.
The Ladies are averaging 54.8 PPG, shooting 32.4 % from the floor, 17.0 % from beyond the arc, 68.6 % from the free-throw line, and average 38.4 rebounds/game.

Scoring: Freshman F Shyanne Phillips (Leesville, La.) – 14.1 PPG
Rebounding: Phillips – 12.0 RPG
Assists: Freshman G Nevaeh Rivera (Rosepine, La.) – 2.4/game

Phillips had another big weekend for the Ladies in a pair of home games against Concordia and McMurry as she posted double-doubles in both contests. She averaged 14.0 PPG, 16.0 RPG, and totaled three assists, two steals, and a blocked shot and went 8-12 at the FT line as she has now registered 10 double-doubles this season and scored in double figures 11 times with 11 double-digit rebounding performances. The rookie is shooting 45.6 % from the floor, 79.2 % from the FT line, and has scored 20+ points three times. Phillips is the conference's second-leading rebounder, ranks ninth in the conference in scoring and FT %, is 11th in FG %. She ranks 15th nationally in rebounds per game and her 10 double-doubles are tied for 29th nationally.
Rivera, the conference leader in steals and tied for 44th nationally in the category, is second on the team in scoring (10.5 PPG) and averages 3.9 rebounds/game along with being the team leader in assists per game (2.4). She has scored in double figures nine time this season and scored 20+ three times as she is 20th in the conference in scoring.
Junior F Layla Powell (Fort Worth, Texas) averages 7.8 PPG, has reached double figures eight times and shoots a strong 74.6 % from the free-throw line as he is 14th in the conference and is 15th in steals/game (1.6).
Scouting the Tigers:
Senior C Zoe Tomlinson leads the way for the Tigers as she is second in the league in scoring (22.6 PPG) and is the leading rebounder (13.6/game) and ranks in the top nationally in both categories. Tomlinson, the Tigers' all-time leading rebounder, is first in the league in blocked shots, second in FG %, and 11th in FT %. Her 17 double-doubles are tied for third nationally, been named the SCAC Player of the Week four times, and named to the D3Hoops.com National Team of the Week twice, and named the US Basketball Writers Association Division III National Player of the Week last month.
Centenary closes out the weekend on Sunday afternoon against the University of St. Thomas Celts at Noon.
