The Ladies (2-10, 1-3 SCAC) fell 75-48 to the Austin College 'Roos on Tuesday evening in their most recent action which was preceded by a 74-61 victory over the University of Dallas Crusaders on Sunday. Southwestern (3-10, 0-4 SCAC) lost a pair of league games at home last weekend, 58-45 to Colorado College and 61-45 against the University of St. Thomas. The Pirates have lost six games in a row overall and are 1-3 on the road this season. The Ladies are 1-5 at home this season and wrap up the homestand on Sunday against Texas Lutheran University at Noon.
The Ladies are averaging 57.4 PPG, shooting 32.8 % from the floor, 19.9 % from beyond the arc, 65.5 % from the free-throw line, and average 40.5 rebounds/game.

Scoring: Freshman F Shyanne Phillips (Leesville, La.) – 12.0 PPG
Rebounding: Phillips – 11.5 RPG
Assists: Freshman G Nevaeh Rivera (Rosepine, La.) – 2.5/game
Blocks: Junior F Kyra Stokes (Shreveport, La.) and Phillips – 0.5/game each

Phillips was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week on Tuesday after she exploded for a career-high 26 points to lead all scorers in the Ladies' win over Dallas at home on Jan. 12 and added a game-high 19 rebounds for an impressive double-double and her 19 rebounds are tied for the most by a SCAC player in a game this season and tied for the seventh-most in a single game in Ladies' program history. She was 11-17 from the floor and 4-4 at the free-throw line in 30 minutes with a blocked shot and a steal. Phillips is the conference's third-leading rebounder, sixth in free-throw %, and ranked in the top 20 in scoring and top 15 in both blocked shots and field goal %. She has now reached double figures six times this season and has recorded four double-doubles.
Rivera is the Ladies' second-leading scorer this season (11.2 PPG) and also averages 4.7 rebounds/game and has seven double-digit scoring performances. She is second in the league in steals per game and is a top-20 scorer. Rivera scored a game-high 16 points on Tuesday against Austin College.
Junior F Layla Powell (Fort Worth, Texas) averages 8.2 PPG and junior G Amiyah Barrow (Baton Rouge, La.) is averaging 7.1 PPG while freshman F Anaya Yunusah (New Orleans, La.) averages 6.3 PPG. Powell has reached double figures five times and is one of the league's top free-throw shooters (81.6 %) as she ranks in the top 10 in the league. Barrow and Yunusah each have four double-digit scoring games this season.
