Ladies Fall 7-1 At St. Thomas In Regular-Season Finale

Houston- The Centenary softball team fell 7-1 on Sunday afternoon to the University of St. Thomas Celts in its regular-season finale in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest at the West University Softball Association fields.

The Ladies 14-19, 7-14 SCAC) and Celts (22-13, 14-7 SCAC) split a doubleheader on Saturday with St. Thomas winning game one by a score of 2-1 and the Ladies taking game two, 6-5 which clinched berth in next weekend's SCAC Championship in Irving, Texas. 

Centenary earned the No. 6 seed in the championship and will face No. 3 seed Trinity (18-22, 13-8 SCAC) in a first-round contest at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 29.
