Ladies Swept By Blazers In Home DH
The Centenary softball team was swept by the nationally-ranked Belhaven University Blazers in a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon, falling 7-1 in game one and 3-0 in game two at the Centenary Softball Complex.

Shreveport – The Centenary softball team was swept by the nationally-ranked Belhaven University Blazers in a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon, falling 7-1 in game one and 3-0 in game two at the Centenary Softball Complex.
The Ladies (14-13) had their season-high eight-game winning streak snapped by the Blazers (22-6) who entered the day ranked 12th in the current NFCA/GoRout Division III Top 25 Coaches Poll. Centenary is now 7-7 at home this season while Belhaven improved to 7-2 on the road.
Centenary will resume conference play at home this weekend versus Austin College (2-26, 2-16 SCAC). The Ladies were picked to finish seventh this season in the SCAC preseason coaches' poll this season and are currently sixth in the league standings.
