Shreveport- The Centenary women's soccer team will face the University of Texas at Dallas Comets on Friday evening in a non-conference contest set for 6 p.m. at Mayo Field.

The Ladies (0-2) fell 1-0 to the University of the Ozarks Eagles in their season opener on Sept. 2 and dropped a 3-0 decision to the Hendrix College Warriors the following day as Friday's match versus the Comets (2-0) will serve as the Ladies' home opener. UT-Dallas has earned shutouts in both of its wins so far this season. The Ladies are 0-2 all-time against the Comets as 2021 was the last time the teams met.

Junior GK Madison Ersoff (Shreveport, La.) played all 90 minutes for the Ladies on Sunday against Hendrix and recorded seven saves. Seven Ladies, including Ersoff, played all 90 minutes. Ersoff also went the distance against Ozarks and finished with seven saves.

Centenary will face Sul Ross State University on Sunday at UT-Dallas in a match set for 11 a.m. to complete its weekend.
