Shreveport - The Centenary women's soccer team takes a break from regular-season play on Saturday as the Ladies will face the University of Arkansas Cossatot in an exhibition match set for Noon at Mayo Field.

The Ladies (1-6-2) return to action after falling 2-0 to the LeTourneau University YellowJackets on Tuesday evening in a non-conference contest in Longview, Texas. Jordan Williams scored both of the goals for LeTourneau, finding the net in the 15th minute and again in the 25th minute.
Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas is a public community college serving southwest Arkansas. Its main campus is located in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains in De Queen, Ark. The Colts are 0-4 this season.
Centenary junior GK Madison Ersoff (Shreveport, La.) went the distance and recorded eight saves. She made five+ saves in a match for the seventh time this season. Ersoff entered Tuesday's match ranked second in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in saves (51) and fourth in goals against average (GAA) – 1.13. Ersoff, named the SCAC Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 18, has recorded three shutouts this season.
Saturday's match is the first of three in a row at home for the Ladies as they open conference play on Friday, Oct. 6 against Texas Lutheran University.
