The Ladies (1-9-3, 0-3-1 SCAC) finished in a scoreless tie on Sunday afternoon versus the Austin College 'Roos in Sherman, Texas in their last action. The Mountaineers (1-9-1, 0-3-1 SCAC) lost 3-0 at Southwestern University on Sunday. Schreiner is 0-4 at home this season. The Ladies trail the Mountaineers, 11-8-3, in the all-time series that dates back to 2011 and lost both matches to Schreiner last season.
Centenary earned its third tie of the season as they shook off a 2-0 loss last Friday night to the University of Dallas Crusaders in Irving. The Ladies traveled with just 11 players for the weekend due to injuries but battled Austin College and had a chance at a last-second goal but a shot from senior MF Cynthia Williams (Bossier City, La.) sailed high.
Centenary junior GK Madison Ersoff (Shreveport, La.) played all 90 minutes for the Ladies and recorded seven saves while notching her fourth shutout this season. Ersoff is the conference leader in saves (93) and ranks seventh in goals against average (GAA) – 1.54. Schreiner senior GK Audrey Rivera is fourth in the conference in saves (48) and eighth in GAA (2.32) with one shutout.
The Ladies conclude their weekend road trip on Sunday, Oct. 22 at Trinity University (Noon) in San Antonio.
