The Ladies (1-11-3, 0-5-1 SCAC) aim to snap a two-game losing streak and finish the season on a high note against the Celts (2-4-5, 1-3-2 SCAC). Centenary fell 9-0 to the Trinity University Tigers on Sunday in San Antonio preceded by a 2-0 loss to Schreiner University on Friday in Kerrville, Texas.

Centenary junior GK Madison Ersoff (Shreveport, La.) continues her climb up the program record book in a multitude of categories as she is in the midst of an impressive season for the Maroon and White. Ersoff is the league leader in saves (108) and ranks eighth in goals against average (GAA) at 2.07.

She has tallied 10+ saves in a match three times this season and made 12 on Sunday against Trinity, coming within one save of her season-best 13 against Texas Lutheran on Oct. 6 at home. Ersoff ranks 44th in the country in division III in saves and has recorded four shutouts this season. She ranks in the top five in the division III era (2011-present) in program history in career saves, GAA, and shutouts.

Centenary won its lone match of the season on Sept. 12, a 1-0 victory over Belhaven University, but has been tough at home as the Ladies sport a 1-3-2 record with two of the three losses being 1-0 decisions. Centenary has finished in scoreless ties against Birmingham-Southern College and Millsaps College.

Scouting the Celts:

St. Thomas is 1-2-3 away from home this season and have scored just eight goals on the season. The Celts were last in action on Sunday as the recorded a 2-1 win at Schreiner. Freshman GK Kylie Soich ranks second in the conference in GAA at 0.92 and seventh in saves (33).

The Ladies lead the all-time series with the Celts, 3-2-1. Centenary won the first three matches between the two from 2019-21, but the Celts won both matches last season, each by a 2-1 score.

Four seniors - F/MF Daisy Acosta (Deer Park, Texas), D/MF Alexa Hinojosa (Pasadena, Texas), D Haleigh Gangloff (Pearland, Texas), and MF Cynthia Williams (Bossier City, La.) will be honored prior to the match.

*NOTE: The men's match against Schreiner will begin at 5 p.m. and the Gents' senior class will be honored after the match, immediately followed by the Ladies' senior ceremony. Then, after a brief warm-up period, the Ladies' match will begin.
