Longview, Texas- The Centenary women's soccer team will face the LeTourneau University YellowJackets on Tuesday evening in a non-conference contest set for 5 p.m. at the LETU Soccer Field.

The Ladies (1-5-2) were blanked 2-0 on Saturday by the Howard Payne University Lady Jackets in a non-conference contest in Brownwood, Texas. LeTourneau (4-1-2) enters Tuesday's match on a four-game winning streak and shutout Schreiner 3-0 at home on Friday in its most recent action. Centenary is 5-6 all-time against LeTourneau in a series that dates back to 2009. The Ladies fell 2-1 at home to the YellowJackets last season.
Centenary, 0-4 away from home this season, seeks its first win since a 1-0 home shutout of Belhaven on Sept. 12. The Ladies, 0-2 in true road contests and 0-2 in neutral-site matches, earned a pair of scoreless ties at home against Birmingham-Southern (Sept. 15) and Millsaps (Sept. 17) prior to Saturday's loss to Howard Payne.
Junior GK Madison Ersoff (Shreveport, La.) enters Tuesday's match ranked second in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in saves (51) and fourth in goals against average (GAA) – 1.13. Ersoff, named the SCAC Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 18, has recorded three shutouts this season and has made five+ saves in a match six times.
Following Tuesday's contest, the Ladies will play three-straight home matches from Sept. 30-Oct. 8. Centenary faces the University of Arkansas – Cossatot in an exhibition match on Saturday and then open conference play on Friday, Oct. 6 against Texas Lutheran University.
