Irving, Texas - The Centenary women's soccer team was blanked 2-0 by the University of Dallas Crusaders in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Friday evening at the UD Soccer Facility.

The Ladies (1-9-2, 0-3 SCAC) and Crusaders (4-7-1, 2-1 SCAC) played to a scoreless tie until Dallas scored both goals in the final 10 minutes of the match to record the victory.

Kaitlyn Cline scored at the 80:37 mark, assisted by Kim Esparaz, for a 1-0 lead. Claire Reed scored just over right minutes later, with Britney Zapata tallying the assist.

Centenary junior GK Madison Ersoff (Shreveport, La.) went the distance and made six saves. Dallas freshman GK Ella Charles also played the whole match and did not record a save. The Crusaders finished with a 21-1 edge in shots and took 10 corner kicks to one for the Ladies. Dallas was whistled for six fouls and Centenary picked up three.

The Ladies will wrap up their weekend with a match at Austin College (5-5-2, 1-1-1 SCAC) on Sunday in Sherman, Texas at Noon.
