Shreveport - The Centenary women's soccer team has been selected as Centenary Athletics' "Team of the Week" after the Ladies held all three of their opponents scoreless last week, finishing with a 1-0-2 record.

The Ladies edged Belhaven 1-0 on Tuesday and then recorded a pair of scoreless ties over the weekend, on Friday night against Birmingham-Southern College and then on Sunday afternoon against Millsaps College.

Junior GK Madison Ersoff (Shreveport, La.) had a perfect week in goal as she tallied a trio of shutouts. Ersoff, who now owns four shutouts in her career, recorded 14 saves in the three matches, covering 270 consecutive scoreless minutes. Centenary's three-straight shutouts are the most in a row since recording five in a row in the 2020 season a single season in program history in the division III (2011-present) era. The three shutouts are the eighth-most in a single season by a Ladies' team in the D3 era and Ersoff's three are tied for the fifth-most in a single season by a goalkeeper in the D3 era.

The Ladies will now hit the road for three-straight matches as they face McMurry University on Friday, Sept. 22, Howard Payne University (Sept. 23), and finally LeTourneau University on Sept. 26.
