The Ladies (0-4) aim for their first win of the season on Tuesday while the Blazers enter the match at 1-1-1 overall. Centenary was blanked 2-0 by Sul Ross State University on Sunday afternoon in a non-conference contest played at the University of Texas at Dallas. Belhaven fell 2-1 at ETBU on Saturday in its most recent match
Centenary, still in search of its first goal this season, dropped a hard-fought 1-0 decision to UTD on Friday evening at home. The Ladies lost to Ozarks 1-0 in their season opener on Sept. 2 and lost to Hendrix 3-0 the next day. Centenary and Belhaven met in Jackson, Miss. last season and played to a 0-0 tie. The Ladies lead the all-time series 3-1-1.
Junior GK Madison Ersoff (Shreveport, La.) enters Tuesday's action ranked second in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in saves (32) and seventh in goals against average (GAA) at 1.75.
The Ladies remain at home for a pair of non-conference contests this weekend, facing Birmingham-Southern College on Friday evening (6 p.m.) and Millsaps College on Sunday afternoon (1 p.m.).
