Shreveport - The Centenary gymnastics team matched its season-best score of 189.150 as the Ladies finished third in a quad-meet on Sunday afternoon against Alaska Anchorage, Greenville University, and Talladega College at the Gold Dome.

The Ladies (2-8) also earned a 189.150 on Friday night in a tri-meet against Alaska and Talladega. Centenary celebrated the 60th anniversary of the sport of gymnastics on campus and welcomed back a large group of alumnae throughout the weekend. Friday was also the annual Sylvia Keiter Memorial Meet.

Alaska Anchorage won Sunday's meet with a 191.875, Talladega was second (191.175), and Greeneville finished fourth (187.750). Centenary earned its best event score on vault (48.100) followed by a 47.425 on beam, a 46.975 on floor, and recorded a 46.650 on bars. Alaska Anchorage's Claudia Lessig won the All-Around with a 38.825.

BARS:

Sophomore Claire Flores (Oklahoma City, Okla.) recorded a season-high 9.50 to finish eighth as she earned the Ladies' top finish and score in the event.

BEAM:

Sophomore Amy Foret (Bedford, Texas) finished second with a 9.725, senior Rylie Molina (Moss Bluff, La.) tied for third with a 9.70, and junior Emma Lavelle (Mandeville, La.) recorded a season-high 9.65 to tie for seventh.

FLOOR:

Senior Lacey Wedge (Belle Chasse, La.) tied for sixth place to lead the Ladies with a 9.625 and freshman Olivia Williams (Cape Coral, Fla.) earned a season-high 9.55 to finish 12th.

VAULT:

Senior Kendall Huff (Riviera, Texas) had the Ladies' best finish as she tied for fourth place with a season-best 9.725. Wedge recorded a season-best 9.675 to finish seventh, sophomore Sophie Schmitz (Trophy Club, Texas) earned a season-high 9.625 to finish 10th, and Foret recorded a season-high 9.60 to tie for 11th place. Senior Isabel Plaza (San Antonio, Texas) finished 18th with a 9.475.

The Ladies will hit the road to face the host Air Force Academy Falcons and UC-Davis in a tri-meet on Friday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. in Colorado Springs, Colo.
