US Air Force Academy, Colo. - The Centenary gymnastics team will face the host Air Force Academy Falcons and the UC-Davis Aggies in a tri-meet on Friday evening set for 7 p.m. inside Cadet West Gym.

The Ladies earned a season-best 189.150 in both of their home meets last weekend – on Friday night in a tri-meet against Alaska Anchorage and Talladega College and then on Sunday in a quad-meet against Alaska Anchorage, Greenville University, and Talladega.

The Falcons won their home opener last weekend with a 194.875 score against SEMO and Sacramento State. The Aggies were edged at San Jose State, 196.400-196.175 last Friday.

Centenary enters the weekend ranked 83rd in the country in the latest Road to Nationals rankings while Air Force, a division 1 program, checks in at 54th, and UC-Davis, also a D1 school, is 43rd.

On Sunday, Centenary earned its best event score on vault (48.100) followed by a 47.425 on beam, a 46.975 on floor, and recorded a 46.650 on bars. On Friday, the Ladies' best event scores of the meet came on both floor (47.350) and vault (47.350) and they finished with a 46.775 on bars and a 46.675 on beam.

SUNDAY'S HIGHLIGHTS:

BARS:

Sophomore Claire Flores (Oklahoma City, Okla.) recorded a season-high 9.50 to finish eighth as she earned the Ladies' top finish and score in the event on Sunday.

BEAM:

Junior Emma Lavelle (Mandeville, La.) recorded a season-high 9.65 on Sunday to tie for seventh.

FLOOR:

Freshman Olivia Williams (Cape Coral, Fla.) earned a season-high 9.55 to finish 12th in Sunday's meet.

VAULT:

Senior Kendall Huff (Riviera, Texas) had the Ladies' best finish on Sunday  as she tied for fourth place with a season-best 9.725. Senior Lacey Wedge (Belle Chasse, La.) recorded a season-best 9.675 to finish seventh, sophomore Sophie Schmitz (Trophy Club, Texas) earned a season-high 9.625 to finish 10th, and sophomore Amy Foret (Bedford, Texas) recorded a season-high 9.60 to tie for 11th place.

FRIDAY'S HIGHLIGHTS:

BARS:

Lavelle tied for ninth place with a season-high 9.525 and Flores finished 11th with a season-high (at the time) 9.425 which she bested on Sunday.

BEAM:

Foret scored a season and career-best 9.80 to tie for third place, and senior Rylie Molina (Moss Bluff, La.) also earned a season and career-best 9.75 to tie for sixth, and Schmitz earned a season-best 9.5755 to finish 11th.

FLOOR:

Wedge tied for third place with a season and career-high 9.75 and senior Isabel Plaza (San Antonio, Texas) tied for eighth place with a season-high 9.575.

VAULT:

Schmitz earned a season-high (at the time) 9.575 to finish third which she bested on Sunday.
