Gents Set To Face Pirates In Regular-Season Finale

Georgetown, Texas - The Centenary lacrosse team will play its final regular-season contest of the season as the Gents will face the Southwestern University Pirates in a Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference contest on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Varsity Field.

The Gents (2-9, 0-1 HCLC) lost a pair of games in Colorado last weekend as they fell 20-5 to Whittier College and 22-3 to Colorado College. The Pirates (7-8, 2-1 HCLC) are 6-4 at home this season but have lost three games in a row.

Centenary has scored 92 goals, an average of 8.36 per game, and has 41 assists this season. The Gents have five players who have scored 10+ goals each led by 21 each from sophomore A G'Colby Spivey (Dallas, Texas) and senior John Mark Waniewski (Bossier City, La.).

Senior M/A Kyle Comi (Allen, Texas) has scored 15, senior A/MF Mark Temple (Houston, Texas) has 12, and sophomore A Braxton Parchman (Shreveport, La.) has 10. Sophomore GK Alex Nicks-Davis (Nashville, Tenn.) is the team leader in saves with 113 as he has made seven starts in goal.
