2023 HCLC Men’s Lacrosse All-Conference Awards Announced

CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) released the 2023 Men's Lacrosse All-Conference teams and award winners on Thursday.

Centenary junior D Matthew Lulich (New Orleans, La.) was named to the second team and was the lone Gents' representative on the team. Lulich, a standout defender, earned Second-Team honors for the second-straight season. Lulich played in all 12 of the Gents' games, starting 10, and finished with 29 ground balls (fourth on team) and a team-high 21 caused turnovers.

Centenary finishes its 2023 season at 2-10 overall and 0-2 in HCLC play. The Gents finished the season with 95 goals, an average of 7.9 per game, and 41 assists. Centenary had five players score 10+ goals each this season

Offensive Player of the Year: Dirk Meinhart, Hanover College
Defensive Player of the Year:  Luca Lietti, Colorado College
Newcomer of the Year:  Colin O'Brien, Hanover College
Coach of the Year: Jeff Roberts, Hanover College

The HCLC also honors an All-Conference First Team and Second Team. The members of those teams are selected by a vote of league coaches.
