Centenary Falls at Texas Lutheran, 3-0

SEGUIN, Texas - Centenary (2-8-2, 1-6-1 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference) gave up a goal in the first and two more in the second in a 3-0 loss to Texas Lutheran (3-7-2, 2-5-1 SCAC) in men's soccer action Friday night, October 6.

Sophomore Lamarr Meza started in goal for the Gents and took the loss, allowing a goal on six shot faced. Senior Kaleb Behm gave up a pair of goals and grabbed four saves in the second half.

Texas Lutheran outshot the Gents 29-7, including 12-1 in shots on goal. David Ching scored the game-winner for the Bulldogs in the 26th minute, when he took a hard shot to the left corner that went off Meza's hands.

Bredan Soto stopped Gents freshman Francisco Simoncini's shot in the 59th minute for his only save of the game.

Centenary returns to the field Sunday, October 8, when it travels to Georgetown, Texas, to take on Southwestern. Kick off with the Pirates is set for 2 p.m.
