Ladies and Gents Soccer Releases 2018 Fall Schedules
SHREVEPORT, La. – Centenary Soccer coaches Greg Cathell and Kyle Symczak released the 2018 fall schedule Monday afternoon, July 23.

SHREVEPORT, La. – Centenary Soccer coaches Greg Cathell and Kyle Symczak released the 2018 fall schedule Monday afternoon, July 23. The Ladies schedule features 10 home games while the Gents slate includes nine home games.
The Ladies and Gents will also face Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference newcomer Johnson & Wales both in Shreveport and in Denver, Colorado for the first time in program history.
The Ladies will play a pair of matches at Mayo Field at home against Belhaven (September 1) and Millsaps (September 5) to begin the season. Both teams will kick off SCAC play and the Gents will celebrate their home opener September 7 when Centenary welcomes Texas Lutheran to Shreveport. The Ladies and Gents battle Schreiner September 9 and Dallas September 11.
Following a four-match road stand for both soccer teams at Schreiner (September 14), at Trinity (September 16), at Southwestern (September 21), and at Texas Lutheran (September 23), Centenary soccer will finish the month of September at home. Austin College will come to Mayo Field on the 25th, while the Gents take on Colorado College on the 28th. The Ladies and Gents take on Johnson & Wales on September 30th.
October begins with a midweek game for both teams on the second at Louisiana College before the final SCAC home games against Southwestern on the fifth and Trinity on the seventh. The Ladies make the short trip west on I-20 October 9 before both teams celebrate senior day against Mississippi University for Women October 13.
Centenary soccer takes on Dallas in a conference doubleheader on October 16 before the Gents take on Colorado College in Colorado October 19. Both teams take on Johnson & Wales in Denver October 21 before finishing the regular season at Austin College October 23.
The top six teams in the conference standings qualify for the SCAC Tournament. Both tournaments take place November 2-4 with the Women's Championship being played in Sherman, Texas, on the campus of Austin College. The Men's Championship will be contested in Georgetown, Texas, on the campus of Southwestern. Match-ups and times are to be determined.
All doubleheaders feature the Gents taking the pitch first with the Ladies following approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game (except at Louisiana College, when the Ladies will play first).
