Softball Wins SCAC Championship Opener Over Southwestern; Advances to Face Texas Lutheran
The No. 5 seed Centenary softball team defeated the No. 4 seed Southwestern Pirates 10-4 on Friday in the opening game of the 2021 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Championship at Mountaineer Softball Field.
Kerrville, Texas - The No. 5 seed Centenary softball team defeated the No. 4 seed Southwestern Pirates 10-4 on Friday in the opening game of the 2021 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Championship at Mountaineer Softball Field.
The Ladies (16-19) snapped their six-game losing streak in a big way as they hammered two Southwestern pitchers for 10 runs and 15 hits. Southwestern fell to 14-19 with Friday's loss.
