Kerrville, Texas - The remaining schedule for the 2021 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Championship has been altered due to inclement weather as play for Saturday has been suspended with hopes of resuming action on Sunday at Mountaineer Softball Field.

A modified single elimination format will be used for the remainder of the event. The No. 5 seed Ladies (16-19) will face No. 3 seed Trinity (16-14) at 4 p.m. on Sunday. The winner will move on to face No. 2 seed and tournament host Schreiner (20-20) at 6:30 p.m. and the loser will be eliminated. Centenary hammered No. 4 seed Southwestern on Friday by a score of 10-4 in the opening round and then its second game of the day against No. 1 seed Texas Lutheran was suspended and later cancelled with the Ladies trailing, 2-0, in the second inning.
