Shreveport – The Centenary volleyball team returns to the court on Wednesday evening as the Ladies will face the Wiley College Wildcats in a non-conference contest set for 6 p.m.

The match will be played at Woodlawn Leadership Academy due to the Gold Dome, the Ladies' normal home site, being unavailable. Live stats and live video will be available for the match at the links below:

The Ladies (2-2) and Wildcats (0-4) are meeting for the second season in a row as the Maroon and White won both matches against Wiley last season, one at home and one in Marshall, Texas. The teams will meet each other again next month – Oct. 4 on the Wildcats' home court.

The Ladies defeated Belhaven (3-0) and Millsaps (3-1) over the weekend and lost to Texas A&M University-Texarkana (3-1) and Howard Payne (3-0). Centenary recorded a .130 overall hitting % in its four matches and totaled 256 digs, 158 kills, 150 assists, and 24 aces.

Sophomore S Meadow Smith (Mansfield, Texas) had a big weekend for the Ladies as she totaled 117 assists, 47 digs, 11 kills, and finished with a .321 hitting %. In her four matches (14 sets). She added six service aces and committed just two errors in 28 total attacks. Smith tallied 26+ assists in each match and posted double-digit digs three times. She is ranked second in the conference in digs and tied for sixth in aces after one weekend of action. Smith was named to the "Country Cajun Classic" All-Tournament Team following her solid weekend.

Junior OH/DS Kiara Liedy (Sugar Land, Texas) had an impressive opening weekend as she recorded 62 digs over four matches (14 sets) with five aces and only three errors in 16 total attacks. Liedy is currently fifth in the conference in digs. Junior MB Elizabeth Canady (League City, Texas) is tied for first in the league in solo blocks (3) and is fifth in the league in kills (40).

Sophomore DS/L Daly Nagot (Benton, La.) is off to an impressive start as she is tied for third in the SCAC in aces (7) and recorded 34 digs, an assist, and a kill. Freshman RS/S Victoria Larson (Royse City, Texas) had a fantastic collegiate debut as she sits second in the conference in hitting % (.464) with just two errors in 28 total attacks and 15 kills, 14 assists, and four digs.
