San Antonio, Texas - The Centenary women's soccer team was blanked 3-0 by the Trinity University Tigers on Sunday afternoon in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest at Paul McGinlay Soccer Field.

The Ladies (0-9-1, 0-2 SCAC) began the weekend with a 2-0 loss at Schreiner on Friday in their conference opener. Trinity improved to 7-0-1 and 2-0 in SCAC play with Sunday's win.

The Tigers scored all three of their goals in the first half in a dominating performance in which they out-shot the Ladies 32-2 and took 13 corner kicks to Centenary's one. There were 17 combined fouls called in the match and two yellow cards were issues, one on each side.

Maya Ozymy scored a pair of goals and Mary Sheridan scored one. Hanna Khan assisted Ozymy on both of her goals, as each was scored in the 44th minute of the first half just 40 second apart. Sheridan's goal, assisted by Alana Wickham, came at the 30:39 mark of the first half.

Sophomore GK Madison Ersoff (Shreveport, La.) played all 90 minutes for the Ladies and made a season and single-game career-high nine saves. Her previous best was eight versus ETBU last season at home. Joey Finley started in goal for the Tigers and played the first half and was replaced by Lauren Little, who played the final 45 minutes and recorded one save.

Centenary will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 30 at home as the Maroon and White welcome Texas Lutheran to Mayo Field for a SCAC contest set for 6 p.m.
