Ladies Finish Season This Weekend On Road
The Centenary women's soccer team will hit the road this weekend for its final two matches of the season beginning with a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest versus the Austin College ‘Roos on Friday at 6 p.m. at Apple Stadium.

The Ladies (2-15-1, 2-10 SCAC) will close the season with another conference match on Sunday at the University of Dallas at 2:30 p.m. in Irving, Texas. Austin College (0-14-1, 0-12 SCAC) is in search of its first win of the season. The 'Roos, 0-6-1 at home this season, lost to Texas Lutheran on their home field on Sunday by a score of 4-0.
Centenary was blanked 4-0 by the Trinity University Tigers on Sunday afternoon in Ladies' Senior Day contest at Mayo Field. Trinity spoiled the Ladies' Senior Day by taking a 3-0 halftime lead and adding one goal in the second half to cruise to the win.
Senior GK Karlie Delhommer (St. Amant, La.) started in goal for the Ladies and played the first 28:30 and recorded four saves. Sophomore GK Madison Ersoff (Shreveport, La.) relieved her and made nine saves in her 61:30 of action. Ersoff currently ranks second in the SCAC in saves (77) and eighth in goals against average (GAA) at 2.25.
Senior F Sydney Bascomb (Mesquite, Texas) needs just one more assist to become the all-time leader in the division III era (2011-present) in the category. She currently ranks sixth in the conference this season in shots (36) and has scored a pair of goals this season. Bascomb, Delhommer and seven others - D Yosi Bouslog (Friendswood, Texas), F Avery Gilbert (League City, Texas), F Daisy Acosta (Deer Park, Texas), MF Celeste Muniz (Denton, Texas), MF Ariel Muller (Groves, Texas), D/MF Sierra Charles (Baton Rouge, La.), and D Haleigh Gangloff (Pearland, Texas) were honored in a postgame ceremony on Sunday .
The Ladies aim for season sweeps over both teams this weekend after defeating both the 'Roos and Crusaders earlier this month at home, besting the 'Roos 5-1 on Oct. 7 and recording a 1-0 win over Dallas on Oct. 9.
