Shreveport - The Centenary women's soccer team was blanked 4-0 by the Trinity University Tigers on Sunday afternoon in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on the Ladies' Senior Day at Mayo Field.

The Ladies fell to 2-15-1 and 2-10 in SCAC play while the Tigers improved to 16-0-1 and 12-0 in the conference. Trinity spoiled the Ladies' Senior Day on a windy, warm day at Mayo Field by taking a 3-0 halftime lead and adding one goal in the second half to cruise to the win.

The aggressive Tigers out-shot the Ladies 36-3 and took 10 corner kicks to Centenary's one. Molly Sheridan scored the Tigers' first goal of the game off an assist from Emma Everts in the 14th minute for an early 1-0 lead. Micaela Bosco scored in the 29th minute to make it 2-0 with the assist from Kyra Stafford.

Hanna Khan found the net in the 39th minute, assisted by Maya Ozymy, to make it 3-0. Sheridan connected on a penalty kick in the 47th minute just after halftime to make it 4-0.

Senior GK Karlie Delhommer (St. Amant, La.) started in goal for the Ladies and played the first 28:30 and recorded four saves. Sophomore GK Madison Ersoff (Shreveport, La.) relieved her and made nine saves in her 61:30 of action. Trinity GK Joey Finley started and played the first 62:59 and did not record a save before being replaced by Lauren Little who also had a clean sheet in her 27:01 of action.

Senior F Sydney Bascomb (Mesquite, Texas) needs just one more assist to become the all-time leader in the division III era (2011-present) in the category. Bascomb, Delhommer and seven others - D Yosi Bouslog (Friendswood, Texas), F Avery Gilbert (League City, Texas), F Daisy Acosta (Deer Park, Texas), MF Celeste Muniz (Denton, Texas), MF Ariel Muller (Groves, Texas), D/MF Sierra Charles (Baton Rouge, La.), and D Haleigh Gangloff (Pearland, Texas) were honored in a postgame ceremony.

The Ladies will finish their regular season next weekend on the road as they face Austin College (Friday, Oct. 28 at 6 p.m.) and Dallas (Oct. 30 at 2:30 p.m.) in a pair of conference matches. The Ladies defeated both teams earlier this month at home, besting the 'Roos 5-1 on Oct. 7 and recording a 1-0 win over Dallas on Oct. 9.
