The Ladies (2-13-1, 2-8 SCAC) fell 4-1 at Southwestern on Sunday in Georgetown, Texas after a 4-2 loss at Texas Lutheran on Friday. The Mountaineers (5-6-2, 4-4-2 SCAC) have won two in a row after recording a pair of 1-0 wins at home last weekend over Dallas and Austin College. Schreiner leads the all-time series, 9-8-3, one that began in 2011. The Ladies and Mountaineers played once last season, a match that ended in a 1-1, double-overtime tie in Kerrville.

Senior MF/D Gabby McDonald (Pasadena, Texas) enters the weekend in an offensive groove as she has scored a goal in four-straight matches. McDonald now has a team-high four goals this season and 13 in her career as she is now tied for fourth all-time in the division III era (2011-present) in program history. Sophomore GK Madison Ersoff (Shreveport, La.) ranks third in the conference in saves (63) and has recorded five or more saves in a match in four of her last seven matches.

Senior F Sydney Bascomb (Mesquite, Texas) needs just one more assist to become the all-time leader in the division III era (2011-present) in the category. She has scored two goals and four points this season, and leads the team in shots (32) which ranks seventh in the conference.

Four other Ladies - MF Celeste Muniz (Denton, Texas), junior D Alexa Hinojosa (Pasadena, Texas),  senior F Daisy Acosta (Deer Park, Texas), and senior D Haleigh Gangloff (Pearland, Texas) are tied with Bascomb for second on the team with a pair of goals each behind McDonald's team-leading four. McDonald and senior F Avery Gilbert (League City, Texas) are tied for the lead in assists with two.

Ashley Esparza leads Schreiner in goals with five while Matiana Cancino leads in assists with three. Schreiner junior GK Audrey Rivera enters the match with 44 saves this season and has recorded six shutouts.

Schreiner enters Friday's match in fourth place in the conference standings while Centenary is seventh. The top four teams qualify for the 2022 SCAC Championship set for Nov. 4-6 in San Antonio.

The Ladies will face Trinity University on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 2:30 p.m. on Senior Day.
