
Ladies Back In Action On Thursday At Austin College

The Ladies (1-17, 0-9 SCAC) enter the contest on a seven-match losing streak and went 0-3 in a league crossover hosted by McMurry University in Abilene, Texas Oct. 12-13. Centenary was swept by was swept by Concordia University, Schreiner University and Texas Lutheran University. The 'Roos (14-10, 6-3 SCAC) have won two matches in a row and are 5-2 at home this season.
Centenary enters the weekend at 0-10 in road/neutral contests this season and is in search of its first victory since Sept. 24 when the Ladies swept Wiley University at home. Centenary and Austin College are meeting for the second time this season after the 'Roos recorded a sweep of the Ladies in Shreveport on Sept. 28.
The Ladies are averaging 7.27 kills per set, 6.55 assists/set, 0.96 blocks/set, 1.30 aces/set, and 13.16 digs/set. Centenary, hitting .023 % for the season, has 73 aces, 367 assists, 24 solo blocks, 737 digs, and 407 kills.

Hinze is among the leaders in the conference in both aces per set (0.49 – fourth) and assists/set (5.00 – seventh). Hinze had another impressive weekend in Abilene as she totaled 61 assists, 27 digs, five aces, and four kills. Her 26 assists against Concordia are a season high and marks the fourth time she has topped 20 this season.
Nagot is currently 10th in the conference in digs/set at 3.75 and posted a season-high 16 digs against Concordia. She totaled 43 digs in the three weekend matches and added seven assists. Nagot tallied 12 or more digs in all three matches. Gatlin posted a career-best 10 kills against Concordia as her previous best was nine and she has tallied seven or more seven times this season.
