Daly Nagot Named To CSC 2024 Academic All-District ®Team
Junior LB Daly Nagot (Benton, La.) was named to the 2024 Academic All-District® Volleyball team, selected by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday.
Greenwood, Ind. – Junior LB Daly Nagot (Benton, La.) was named to the 2024 Academic All-District® Volleyball team, selected by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday.
The prestigious team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Nagot, a Business Administration major with a 3.58 GPA, becomes the first Ladies' volleyball player since Jaycie Proctor in 2022 to earn the honor. She played in all 25 of Centenary's matches this past season and tallied a team-high 253 digs (3.33 digs per set), 31 assists, and eight service aces. She is also a two-time member of the SCAC Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
