
Ladies Swept At Austin College
The Centenary volleyball team was swept by the Austin College 'Roos in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Thursday evening inside Hughey Gymnasium.
Sherman, Texas - The Centenary volleyball team was swept by the Austin College 'Roos in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contest on Thursday evening inside Hughey Gymnasium.
The Ladies (1-18, 0-10 SCAC) were back on the court for the first time since Oct. 13 and saw their losing streak reach eight as they fell to 0-11 in road/neutral contests this season. The 'Roos (15-10, 7-3 SCAC) have won three matches in a row and are 6-2 at home this season.
Austin College won set one by a score of 25-14, took set two, 25-15, and clinched the match with a 25-8 win in set three.
The Ladies finished with 37 digs, 22 kills, 18 assists, two solo blocks, and one service ace while the 'Roos tallied 50 digs, 43 kills, 41 assists, five aces, and four solo blocks.

The Ladies will face the Colorado College Tigers in a conference contest on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. in Irving, Texas in a makeup match originally scheduled for Oct. 19.
