Ladies Swept By Trinity In Season Finale
The Centenary volleyball team was swept by the Trinity University Tigers on Saturday afternoon in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match as part of a league crossover in the Ladies’ season finale inside the Robertson Center.
Georgetown, Texas - The Centenary volleyball team was swept by the Trinity University Tigers on Saturday afternoon in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match as part of a league crossover in the Ladies' season finale inside the Robertson Center.
The Ladies finish their 2024 season at 1-25 overall and 0-15 in SCAC play while the Tigers improved to 21-6 and 13-1 in league play. Centenary, which was swept on Friday night by Southwestern University, finished the season on a 15-match losing streak.
Trinity won the first set, 25-12, and then won set two by a score of 25-15 and closed out the sweep in set three, 25-19.
The Ladies finished with 34 digs, 23 kills, 21 assists, five service aces, and one solo block. The Tigers tallied 42 digs, 39 kills, 33 assists, seven aces, and two solo blocks.
