DENTON, Texas - It was an All-American kind of night for Centenary at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate Championships Friday, April 13.

Two years ago at the USAG Championships, Jordan took center stage on floor and delivered the best floor performance for the Ladies in a decade. Friday night, she received a season high of 9.875 to finish First Team All-American on floor. Combining both sessions, Jordan finished eighth.

Not to be outdone, junior Tavia Smith claimed First Team All-American honors in the all-round with three individual event and an all-around career high. Her 38.750 total easily eclipsed her best by 0.35 earlier this season. She began the night on floor with a 9.725, upping her career best by a tenth. After a 9.500 on vault, increasing her career best on bars by five-hundredths, receiving a 9.725.

Needing at least a 9.450 on beam for a new best in the all-around, Smith cleared the total with plenty of room to spare. Her 9.800 bested her previous career high by 0.025. With both sessions results combined, she finished eighth in the all-around.

Senior Ashley White received a season best on floor with a 9.800, while Sierra Ponder capped her freshman season with a career high 9.800 on bars and Second Team All-American honors. Rounding out the night, sophomore Cami Bea Austin received a 9.725 on floor, while White finished with a 9.450 on vault.

Jordan will compete for a USAG National Championship on floor for the second time in her career Sunday afternoon, April 15. Event finals are set to begin at 1 p.m.
