Women's Soccer Remains Undefeated with 5-2 victory over Millsaps

Jackson, Miss. - The Centenary Women's Soccer Team remained undefeated with a 5-2 victory over Millsaps College on Wednesday evening at Harper Davis Field, as the Ladies improved to 3-0 this season.

The Ladies fell behind 1-0 as Millsaps' Hannah Johnson scored in the 16th minute, but senior Migui Boldrin (Ribeiaro, Brazil), the reigning SCAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, tied the game with a goal at the 19:22 mark, her third of the season. The game remained tied until halftime but then the Ladies offensive exploded in the second half, scoring four goals in a 20 minute span. Senior midfielder Betzabet Bravo Carmona (Katy, Texas) put Centenary ahead for good with a goal at the 48:27 mark, assisted by Kyra Montes (Shreveport, La.). Three minutes later Montes notched her first goal of the season with Moldrin and Sydney Bascomb (Mesquite, Texas) credited with the assists.

Boldrin struck again at the 59:18 mark, assisted by Montes, for her fourth goal of the season.  Freshman midfielder Ariel Muller (Groves, Texas) capped the scoring for the Ladies with her first career goal in the 68th minute. Emma Dotson added a late goal for the Majors to make it 5-2. The Ladies held a 20-5 advantage in shots, including 10 shots on goal.
