Thousand Oaks, Calif. - The Centenary volleyball team will begin play Friday in the 12th Annual Cal Lu Fornia Invitational, hosted by Cal Lutheran. The Ladies and 11 other teams will participate in matches the next two days.

The field for the event in addition to Centenary is comprised of: Chapman, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Colby-Sawyer, Concordia (Texas), Occidental, Texas Lutheran, Linfield, Puget Sound, UC Santa Cruz, Whittier, and the host Cal Lutheran. 

The Ladies will play two matches Friday and two on Saturday and will open play at 2 p.m. central time (Noon local time) versus Chapman then face Whittier at 6:45 central time (4:45 p.m. local time). Saturday the Ladies face Linfield at 1 p.m. central time (11 a.m. local time) and then play Occidental at 3:30 p.m. central time (1:30 p.m. local time). The Ladies welcome St. Thomas to the Gold Dome on Saturday, Sept. 14 for their home opener in a match set for 5 p.m. Go Ladies! #CTheOpportunity
