Volleyball Heads To Houston To Meet St. Thomas in SCAC Play

Houston, Texas - The Centenary volleyball team will face the St. Thomas Celts on Saturday in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match set for 3 p.m. at the Jerabeck Center.

The Ladies (5-11, 3-2 SCAC) dropped a non-conference match to the East Texas Baptist University Tigers, 3-0, on Tuesday in the Gold Dome, snapping their two-game winning streak, losing 25-18, 25-23, 25-17 and falling to ETBU for the third time this season. The Maroon and White is 4-4 in its last eight matches after going 2-2 in the SCAC Group A Divisional last weekend at home.

St. Thomas will make its home debut Saturday against the Ladies after playing their first 11 matches of the season away from home. The Celts are 3-8 and 1-4 SCAC on the season.
